Make sure that the site is accredited by the Better Business Bureau or recommended by popular financial media. Check that the insurance companies the site offers come along with their current rankings (preferably A or higher). The site should also offer professional support staff to answer your queries. But, mostly beware of sites only pushing the cheapest deals.
