Can I install vinyl flooring over existing ceramic tiles?

Can I install vinyl floor tiles (8x8) over existing ceramic flooring (1" tiles)? If so, how do I prepare the subfloor?  What are recommended products to use ?

Yes you can, but floor must be prepared properly with a 'self leveling polimere floor patch'. The subfloor must be solid- no loose tiles!

Barb is right.  Fill the floor with a product as Aardex.  The tiles should be free of wax or other bond breakers.

Yes, you can use vinyl flooring over existing tiles provided that the surface is smooth.In your case, I think Vinyl Sheets should be suitable. You can read more here: Vinyl Flooring
