they are easy to take car of if you live in a place that almost never freezes year around. They do need lots of sunlight, some types more than others. if they get big be careful of rats making nest in the tops of them. ive had problems with that before.

oh ya and dont forget to trim the branches as they turn brown and get lower. that might be a given lol but good luck with your greenthumb

depending on the kind of palm u have no strong sunlight likes east or west window temperatures between 60-80f water and feed regularly through summer loves high humidity mist often.
