Impounded cars for sale?

Impounded cars for sale - do people really find bargains?

Have you ever bought an impounded or repo car, were there any problems with it? Did you manage to get a cheap price compared to the real value?

What have your experiences been with seized, repo or impounded cars for sale?

I was always curious about where to find cheap impounded cars for sale etc. and where all these government auctions were .... seems like a search for the holy grail...

Why do impounded cars for sale attract plenty of people?...... This is because it is mandated by rule to do so plus this taking up space in the impound lot. You will find that when you get to your first police impound auto auctions there will be a lot of competition for most of the vehicles that are there.

Why would you settle for repo cars when there are really good used car deals in town? I got my ford escape by browsing through google in the hopes of finding great deals for Ford autos. Thankfully, I came across www.513ford.com. They have great people who give great bargains. WHy don't you try them out?

I just bought my second car through an online auction for impounded cars.

the first one, a jeep liberty 2007, we got at $2650. I sold it last month for $13,775!!! And I just bought a bmw 328xi wagon 4wd for $10,450, which is about $14000 below its market value...

I found the auction through a membership site I subscribed to. I had researched online and found that http://impoundedcarsforsale.org was the only site to actually review the government auction listing sites, because I really was confused about which site to subscribe to...I ended up going with GAAlert - you will find a review on the site mentioned above.

there is a lot of info on where to find the impounded car auctions and how to bid successfully...

Are government seized cars reliable, or too good to be true?

I've heard about these gov't auctions of seized cars. I browsed the websites and I've seen brand new, $30,000 and up cars sold for $7g and less. Are these cars reliable?

We bought a car from a impounded car auction . Paid 1k for it, drove it for 2 years until it got stolen and we got 2k from insurance.

You have to know what you are looking for and how much you are willing to spend. I would do it again, but remember it is like any used car some are good and some are bad.

Generally repo and impounded cars are reliable, it's possible you can buy a brand new car off the lot & have problems, small chance, but nothing man made is guaranteed.
