Discuss Bonestructure's answer to: Should it be illegal to advocate for censorship?

I once had a discussion about a show called "Work It" that LGBT media watch dogs and rights organizations accused of being transphobic and they attempted to convince the network to never air the show ...

The principle of freedom of speech is one of those funny things That has to be granted equally to everyone or to no one. Otherwise it's useless.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

What if someone were to argue that advocating censorship should not be considered free speech on the grounds of it being a threat to other people's liberties?  Then what?

Bonestructure

But it's not a threat to liberties. They're expressing their opinion. Others have the right disagree with them. I hate censorship with a passion, but people have the right to say what they will.

There were two official newspapers in the former Soviet Union: "Izvestia" (News) and "Pravda" (Truth).  Since 1991, both have lost all suport except from extremists who cannot understand anything but distortion, half-truths, racism, bitterness, and outright lies.

"There is no Izvestia in Pravda and no Pravda in Izvestia."  Alas, all leftists share such deranged programming that there is no way to consider it any variety of "thought."  That is all the fault of leftists trying to commandeer the world at the expense of all people who lived happily until the arrival of socialism.

The same programming existed in Germany prior to and during WWII with such state required reading as Der Sturmer (We who create a storm) and ABSOLUTE exclusion of all other publications.  That "storm" left the world caked in the blood of innocents.

Mischeivous enough neurotics think that such hatred is "empowering" for whatever sadistic rationalizations they might confabulate, but we the people are tired of the wars that these self righteous leftists always provoke.

All leftist societies use very strict censorship to keep the people severely militant, disinformed, and churning with hate.  That is one reason why leftists always use every insulting excuse that they can devise to re-institute militant propaganda.

And yes, Bonestructure, censorship is most definitely a threat to everyone's liberty.

Censorship and propaganda are dangerous in one regard: in the absense of all rational context, people eventually mistake that nonsense for fact.  When the government controls the press and the government is out to make itself look good, then expect deceit.  Our press is far from perfect but it definitely beats that stack of lies we would suffer if we had to endure the hell on earth that leftist governments always become.

Our leftists hope to create their own variety of compulsory deceit here and exploit it for money and power.  Power mad despots and ruthless tyrants will always crowd to leftist "causes" because it is so easy to use these "causes" to fill one's back pocket with ill-gotten gain, but the whole purpose of leftists is to get out of work and become hateful as they do it.

Rocmike why do all of your aliases go to old Answers and questions no one has been on in a long time? AP-Ladarko does the same thing. Could it be you are the same poster?

You should see the propaganda that the people endure in Asia.  The "news reports" come out on the state press, people are informed who they must hate or else, and not to instantly comply is good for a bullet.  Many would rather buy the bullet than believe these obvious leftist lies.  They have paid with their lives.

There is no queston in any regard, believe who to hate or be shot, no questions asked or answers expected.

So it is in all leftist societies.  Let's hope we never get that far down in America.  Obama and his cult of personality may object but cults of personality turn on a dime with nine cents change coming.
