Both my wife and I have a ipad2's  and when  we try to go to aol.com, the site is redirected to http:/t.aol.com.  Why is this?  I can not locate any information on this redirect site

t.aol.com is our homepage experience created specifically for tablets. If you prefer to see the desktop version of the homepage, you can touch the link at the bottom of the page labeled Back to Desktop Version.
