i feel sorry for your predicament.i faced a similar situation and had to start over again getting all those contact numbers again.luckily for me my father had kept half of the numbers written down in his telephone index.ALL THE BEST TO YOU JOYCE

Easy solution (this time at least!) I signed out of AOL and signed in again, and the contact list was replaced.

Answered: Contacts erased by hacker....

Create an Gmail account, then try 'importing' ....I have done this and found 'contacts' I hadn't seen in years!
