Keep the television off, as well as all radios and music players.  Insulate the walls heavily.  Replace old windows with new and heavily sealed windows.  Install carpet in every room.  Hang tapestry and quilts on walls.  Fix all leaky faucets and machinery that squeaks. Have no children or pets.
