No hot water flowing in the house

I had a plumbing repair done to my shower (diverter replaced).  The water was shut off outside, the repair done, then the water turned back on.   Now I don't have hot water flowing out of any spigots in my house.   The cold water spigots work fine; however, when I turn the knobs for hot water, nothing comes out.

Check if the inside turn offs were turned back on, or hot water heater might be turned off.

If it's an electric water heater...I would check my electric switch box for the entire house to make sure the guy who worked on the shower didn't flip the hot water heater off in the fuse box thingie where those little switches are that turn your electricity on and off.  That happened to me once.  Once the switch was turned back on...then the hot water heater came back on...within a short while...we had hot water again.

Elden has it right ...  The electric plays no role in water flow ..  Ignore the last 2 ignorant answers !!!!    Check all of your shut off valves
