How do i repair peeling drywall tape

Peel it off as far as it will go, then replace  with mesh drywall tape. Cover this with a thin coat of 'lite' drywall mud using a wide (6-8inch) metal spatula. next day sand very lightly with a rubber sanding block.

What is truth -

Hello,you could use the type of glue kids iuse at school behind the seams and take a towel and push along the seams then take a damp cloth amnd wipe off any excess,or use a glue stick and then use a towel or sponge anything flat to press aginst the wall.Jim

I'm sorry but "bubbyaxe's  answer is one of the stupidest I've ever seen. If you do this, your seams will spring again for sure.  This is one of the main reasons why mesh tape was made.
