Why wont my air combustion switch close on my furnace?

Have you changed your filters recently? On some furnsces there is s switch that opens when   the filterdoor is open. If the door isn't replaced properly the safty switch will not close and orevent all other functions in-operable. Some times that switch will just fail. Try jumping the swiths and see if the combustion air fan starts. If it does... replace the switch.
