Wood burning stove my stove i built its 2'deep 3 ...

wood burning stove my stove i built its 2'deep 3'wide 2'tall and i have a 6" stack and it wont draft right the smoke keeps coming in my garage i put the stack towards the back i have no clue on how to make it draft if i shut the doors its ok but not hot enough

What you need is a taller stove pipe. You didn't make it long enough for the smoke to go outside without backing up to the inside. Most chimney pipes have stokers, a trap door built inside the pipe to be opened when the fire is burning good to draw the smoke outside.You will notice the difference in the volumn of heat you will get with these changes. Go to the Library and find a book on building "wood burning stoves", the diagram should show you how to do this. Whether you are using  wood or coal doesn't matter, except for the color of the smoke.

i put in a damper and tried it in all postions i had a long pipe and then i went to a short one so i am trying different thinggs shoud i stil try a stoker?
