In China.

Oranges were native to China and the Chinese were the first to start domesticating them and creating different species. They soon spread throughout Asia, then to Europe, Spain and Portugal when the Dutch east Indies trading company and others started trade with China and Asia. Peaches were also originally native to China.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.
