This will be difficult to explain in words but it happens all the time. When you go to pull the key out you always grab it at the end of the key and this can cause the tip of the key to hang up inside on a pin. So just place thumb and forefinger as far forward as you can. They should be touching the lock, then pinch your fingers together and pull lightly and it should come out. If not then remove the back 2 screws and take it apart. If you need to take it to a Locksmith don't call a mobil locksmith because he will charge for a trip, so take it to a shop and you should get it repaired for less than $20.00. Hope this is clear enough to understand.
