Sometime during the 1960s, a group of people, I believe headed by Jim McHale, agricultural secretary to, and overlook my spelling, Governor Shrap, held a meeting in a farmhouse owned by Mr. and Mrs. Carl L. Kaufman located in Kingsley, Pennsylvania, for the purpose of establishing a Farmer's Union. My husband, Carl L. Kaufman eventually became State Director for the union, located in Harrisburg, Pa. I'm interested in anything anyone has to offer me in the way of its history. Mary A. Kaufman. makpoet@aol.com
