What was the name of the volcano that destroyed Herculaneum?

Vesuvius. It is the same mountain the erupted in 79 AD, burying Pompeii and Herculaneum in the lava. If you look at the map you can see they are very close to one another, and the mountain is basically evenly between them. I've actually been to both, and thought Herculaneum was more authentic, maybe because it's less famous and touritsy.
