Do different sources of sodium chloride metabolize ...

Do different sources of sodium chloride metabolize differently? i.e. sea salt vs table salt?  Someone told me that hypertensive people can use sea salt without worrying about its affect on blood pressure.

sea salt has a much lower proportion of sodium, than sodium chloride alone does.
