first of all, don't "hay lady" anyone....

 For me, no pick up lines, I guess the one pick up line that actually worked on me is "hi, my name is.... and I usually don't do this kind of things but..." It also helped that the guy in question talked to me while I was on a really bad day and walking around in a pajama!

Don't use pick up line, usually, that get women defensive and creeped out. If she's in a group, start by talking to someone else in the group and make friend to the whole group and then talk to her. Over all, try making friends and then approach the romantic angle.

no pick-up line!how about intelligent conversation?there is nothing like being able to have an intelligent conversation with sby who has a brain!i want sby that i am proud to be with and not sby that just wants to get into my pants!

It really depends on the type of girl you're trying to pick up.  I worked in a convenience store in my 20's, and got 'hit on' constently, in every way you can imagine.  Then one day this carpenter guy came in, he got some gas and bought a sandwich, and started to eat it right there in the store.. I said to him "your hands are dirty, don't you want to wash them before you eat?"  And this wonderful guy captured my heart immediately,  when he said; "don't you know that Jesus ate with dirty hands?" 

Not only do I still love him 21 years later, but I will never forget the first thing he said to capture my attention.
