Helping someone learn colors how is color blind

my boyfreind is color blind and i would like to know is their a way he can learn how colors a diffrent way like if i put the begining of the color on the color would that help him to learn his colors? he wants to learn his colors is their way i can help him with it

Not a bad idea, that one. But make sure the color you write the names of the colors in aren't colors that will blend in with the colors as he sees them. For example, in black and white photography, certain shades of red turn into the exact shade of gray or black if they're on certain other colors that also turn gray or black. I suggest writing the names of the color on white paper with blackl letters, then put a strip of the color beneath it.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

There are different types of color blindness, which has he? Yes, your idea may work but it also may not, because in many cases the color-blind person sees the colors in question only as shades of gray. If he is one of those people but is fortunate enough to be able to distinguish variations in shade, then you have a better chance of success.
