Help to get our son back

My almost 13 year old step son has been in DHS custody living with family members for the last 6 years.My wife and I have been trying to get custody for the last 3 years only getting mostly supervised visits and occasional unsupervised visits.My wife has been clean for 3 years and has done everything DHS has asked of her(Therapy,Parenting Coures,Drug Tests,CRB,Court,ECT.)We hired an attorney a year ago and went to the county our son lives in only to have the judge not hear our side.What do we do?

If your attorney petitioned the court for a hearing and was denied, he should know the reason for the denial. If he hasn't petitioned thee court but is only telling you that the judge won't hear your case I'd suggest getting another attorney.
