i am not allowed to run due to doctors orders and i want lose a few pounds still. how can i do this?
If you can walk, it is one of the best forms of exercise. Just start out with a short walk and gradually increase it. If you have any sort of leg problems, there is very little stress on your body when you walk in water. Is there a pool nearby you could use? Good luck to you.
Stay away from fatty, sugary, processed foods. Lean towards natural, preservative-free food. Even light exercise 3 times a week will greatly benefit you in the long run. Don't skip meals, it only decreases metabolism. Eat breakfast within an hour of waking up. Try to eat 6 smaller meals of about 250-300 calories each per day, as opposed to 3 bigger meals. Don't go over 4 hours without eating. Try not to eat after 7 p.m. Check out http://sumiram2006.googlepages.com/weightloss for all info regarding weight loss.
