Help me PLEASE

I have a friend who passed away and I'am trying to find the obiturary. I live in Massachusetts and it seems like they say free obiturary look up then when you go to the web site there is a fee.Can you tell me if there is a free site to find old listings

If you were a good friend you would make an obituary and post it somewhere ... some people don't get obituaries 'cause they don't have any friends! I think that you should make an obituary for them.

Usually the local newspapers will offer a free section on their website - try that.

Yes I know that Frank thank You very much , but that is only true about recent obits .. I should have posted that he passed away back in 1988 . I just find it so annoying when it says free lookup and you go to the site and start to look and it brings you to a place to sign up and it is like 35.99 and up.Thank you again for answering and Have a Great day.
