Help with thin flat hair

What is the best thing to do with thin flat hair? I inherited this type of hair and used to use gel, blow dry it, and then use a curling iron, but felt like all this was causing heat damage. I am now letting all the layers grow out, and am just using Pantene shampoo and conditioner, and blow drying on a low heat setting with no gel or hair spray. My hair looks thin and flat, but it does feel healthy. Any suggestions on how to get my hair to look thicker? Thanks!

First Thing I'd Say...Is Get Rid Of The Pantene...You Won't Find Any Self-Respecting Professional Hairstylist Recommend That Or Any Other "Over The Counter" Shampoo.....First of All...The Key Ingredient In Pantene....Dove....Tresomme....Thermasilk.....etc...Is Ammonium Laurel Sulfate..So Your Basically Shampooing Your hair With Stuff You'd Ordinarily Wash Your Floors With...Ammonia.......I WOULD Recmmend Either "Big Sexy Hair" Shampoo.....Volumizing Foam And Thickening Lotion..OR Redken's Bodifull Shampoo...Guts Volumizing Foam And Thickening Lotion

Never Sweat The Petty Stuff..But Always Pet The Sweaty Stuff

I would recommend hair extensions to give your hair a little bit of volume. i have thin short hair and i wear hair extensions for some volume and length and i love them, they look just like my real hair! i buy mine from www.buyhair.co.uk

hope this helps
