Please help me fix my iPod.

My iPod needed to be restored. And so i restored it on iTunes. and when i went to turn it on, it said it needed to be restored....So i restored it yet again. And it kept sayin it needed to be restored. And so one day my cousin finally got it restored and put some music on it. And when i was listening to it. It always froze in the middle of the song having me to reset it. And not im back to where i keep restoring my iPod and nothing works..Anyone know what i can do? I found this iPod in the middle of a parking lot about a year ago. It seemed fine till now.. so i dont have any kind of insureance on it. Anyone know how i can fix this problem of mine?
