Please help me find my brother

My name is Lisa Ann Whitt. I am searching for my brother Bernard Leo Whitt. I have not seen him since 1975, when we lived in Bandera, Texas for a short time. His DOB is September 27, 1958 or 1959. Our mother's name is Sharon Rae Steinbach (aka Whitt, Blackwell), and father's name was Raymond Claude Whitt. We were born in Ohio at Miami Valley Hospital, then moved to Texas. Other siblings are Dawn Elizabeth Whitt and Christine Lenore Whitt. Maternal grandmother's name is Anne Marie Steinbach. We lived in San Antonio, Texas until our step-father moved us to Colorado for a short period of time, and then to Bandera. This is when my brother left home and I have not heard from him since 1975. Any response would be helpful. I have been searching for 20 + years and have had no luck. Does anyone have ideas-I have applied for his birth certificate and have used so many search tools, please advise.

I would suggest posting ads on websites that are popular in your city/state. For example, craigslist.org, facebook.com and myspace.com are great ones. I would also suggest doing a web search of your brother's name, seeing what comes up. I've had some success with checking on 411.com (check out this link as I found some listings for a B Whitt in TX).

Yellowpages.com might be another good website. If none of this works, the only other suggestion I have is to contact a private investigator and see if he/she can help you locate him. Good luck!

Wow a bunch of great information to research with, I only wish I had the time today to do some searches today.

For now I'd recommend www.zabasearch.ws for a quick search (free) or if you have the time and are willing to do a little research then the free people search listings at People Ferret are my favorite: http://www.peopleferret.com/free-people-search.htm

Since you haven't seen him in so many years, and I hate to mention these links but I'm going to anyways... you can also check the death database at http://www.peopleferret.com/free-death-database.htm and also the inmate search area http://www.peopleferret.com/free-inmate-search.htm

I know, a bunch of links for you to do your research however he just might turn up along your journey!
