The movie, about black maids in the Jim Crow South and the white woman who writes a book about them, is set to clean up at the Oscars on Sunday night, with actresses Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer ...
"the black is indolent and fanciful, he spends his money on frivolity and drink [...]" - Che Guevara Won't see that on the t-shirts. And that's fairly tame compared to the rest of the diatribe. To add: "We believe as much in the purity of race as we think they do, only we believe that they would best serve these interests, which are as dear to us as to them, by advocating the purity of all races, and not one alone. We believe also that the white race of South Africa should be the predominating race." - Gandhi
Loans: I'll speak on Gandhi's quote. Most of his racist statements can be found in his Indian Opinion magazine. Basically, in his quest to gain rights for Indians, he threw the black Africans under the bus. He would regularly refer to them as kaffirs and described their lifestyle as disgusting. Che's racist statements are mostly found in his diaries. Search the one I posted and you'll find a number of sources.
