Discuss OronD's answer to: Hebrew to English translation

Can someone provide me with the English translation of the following? Tikatayvuh Vtechateymu< /p>

Hi Max,
That's the way Jewish people congratulate others for the comming new year.  Tikatevu = is in free translation "I wish that your names will be written in the book of life".  Ve = and    Tichatemu = you will be signed (approved) to the book of life.   According to the Jewish religion G-d judges each and every person as follows: puts the good thing that person did against the bad things and those who were finds "worth" are written in the book of life.  Later on at Yom-Kippur G-d signs the book (final decision).  Techatemu comes from the Hebrew word "signiture" [reads in Hebrew Cha'ti'ma......  "ch" is like "J" in Spanish (Juan, Julio...)
Best regards,

Love is the battery of life....
