I am a 74 year old woman and my breast's are rather large. sice 42DD. Lately, my left breast seems to be growing larger. I don't think there are any lumps and it doesn't hurt. Does anyone know why this could be happening?

Sounds like that's a question for your physician.

"A daughter holds your hand for only a short while...but she holds your heart forever."

Agree with Shuddup.   Make an appointment to go see a GYN doctor (or whoever you've seen in past that did a mamogram for you, as they might have a "baseline" ... prior results to compare to now.

It's probably nothing serious, but you should not gamble on that; you should have it checked out by a doctor.

Wish you the best,

It would be wise to get a mammogram, to test for signs of breast cancer. "Prevent it or catch it early" is a good motto.Your doctor should be making sure you are up to date on all important test. I wish you well.

No, nobody knows. Not even my buddy, Madam Zarzamora, the Gypsy. Somebody can know in the near future. That person's identity has already been revealed. See your doc.

I hope that this does not turn out to be anything serious. It was difficult finding much thru Google. Most of the causes were not good. In the absence of any medical history, it is tough to say much. Unilateral breast enlargement from non-cancerous causes can include congestive heart failure and hemodialysis.

Gratitude as a discipline involves a conscious choice.....* Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.*One of the widest gaps in human experience is the gap between what we say we want to be and our willingness to discipline ourselves to get there.

Yeah...a MAMMOGRAM not a GYN as Rob suggested...LOL

Bzzzz! Bzzzz!

Definitely see your doctor for a mammogram.  I have a lot of breast cancer in my family and I see a breast surgeon every 6 mos.  They are really experts in how the breast should feel in the exam and great at interpreting mammo results.
