Pasta , just like any food, is not fattening if eaten in moderation.  In fact when I lived in Italy, most of the Italians were not fat at all.  Due to the fact that the food is fresh and has no preservatives and because of the amount of walking most Italians do.

Portions are not large either.

So enjoy Pasta.  In moderation.

Life is too short to eat fast food.

It's not so much the pasta that's fattening. It's what most people put on the pasta.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.
