1. Ask your doctor for free samples. Tell him/her that you can't afford to pay for it.

2. Order pantoprazole online from a Canadian pharmacy.  Brand name drugs are far less expensive in Canada than in the United States because of price control in Canada.

3. Omeprazole is a viable alternative proton-pump inhibitor that is available over the counter.  It is often on sale at your local pharmacy for around $15 for a 42-count.
