My boyfriend has a siems amputation that is below the knee, left foot. He also recently had lower back surgery, the replacement of 2 lower discs. He is 45 and slightly overweight. He has been having knee and hip pain on his left side especially after standing for awhile. He stretches and walks everyday and has lost some weight but the pain doesn't go away. Any ideas what he should do concerning his situation?  thank you

Let him go back to his doctor to give him meds to relieve his pain. Also you should not give him too fatty foods. Give him fruits and vegetables so he won't gain too much weight.

Be honest and be true to yourself.

I always had knee trouble since I was younger and someone studying to be a personal trainer told me it could be because of weak hips. Does hip strength directly affect knee strength?
