there are certain anticholinergic drugs that are available on the market. These drugs work on a chemical in our bodies called acetylcholine which stimulates the sweat glands under the influence of the sympathetic nervous system. However when anticholinergic drugs interfere with the actions of acetylcholine they may also affect other bodily functions in which acetylcholine plays a role producing side effects such as dizziness nausea hazy vision dry mouth and constipation.

3 steps to controlling excessive underarm sweating:

1) Free & Inexpensive - drink lots of cold fluids (not alcohol), get an antiperspirant with aluminum chloride hexahydrate, and before you go to sleep at night put lemon juice on your underarms . (A home remedy.  For others see: http://www.underarmsweatingremedy.info/)

2) Ask your doctor if you have hyperhidrosis.

3) (Depending on your doctors diagnosis) Take prescribed treatment (usually botox shots, as it is most effective at reducing sweating), or go natural and try other home remedies until you find one that works best for you to control excessive underarm sweating .
