Hello grab,

The name of the pill you're asking about, with the ZC 26 imprint is Meloxicam. The pill is round, it's yellow, the strength is 15mg, and it's manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals. Meloxicam is in a group of drugs called "non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents" or NSAID's for short.

It's in the same category as Advil and Motrin (Ibuprofen). There are many prescription medications in this category, and the pill you're asking about just so happens to be one of them. NSAID's work by reducing inflammation (swelling) thus reducing pain associated by the swelling (inflammation).

So while technically it is a pain relieving medication, its method of pain relief is by far different than how the narcotic pain-killer Percocet works. So for example if some person was looking to cop a buzz, it's not going to happen with the pill you've asked about.

All Schedule II narcotic pain-killers, which includes Percocet, have a high addiction potential. It's a major reason why doctor's these day's are so reluctant to prescribe them to their patients, even when it can be justified to do so. *(Nowadays too many doctor's are dorks!!!)

On an end note I'll add that I sure hope you didn't pay for that pill under the impression it might be the real deal, because if you did, you got ripped off! Maybe better luck next time.
