If you have severe or chronic pain they may not in fact work. You may need a prescribed painkiller to ease your pain. See a doctor and explain that NSAIDS just don't do it for you. They may prescribe a narcotic or on a milder note Tramadol.

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing well.
