Discuss carlita's answer to: I have a friend that drink a lot about a quart a day of alcohol and his pee is brown thick, and has an odor. what dose that mean?

This is definitely a sign of bad liver, you must ask him to get him checked with doctor, in case of hepatitis, he may have to take very serious life saving precautions or else he is endangering his own life.
