I went to my doctor for a follow up appointment and she said my flu shot would still be effective even though I started my antibiotics two days after getting the flu shot.

Although antibitics are used to fight bacteria and the flu is a virus, I would recomend you speak with a doctor or other healthcare professional.

Hi, I wonder why you would like to take an antibiotic after you had your flu shot. Do you have other bacterial infections to be treated with antibiotics? As the 1st responder said, flu is caused by a virus and normally flu is not treated with antibiotics.

Be honest and be true to yourself.

I have had a cold that turned into a sinus infection.  When I got the flu shot I thought I was suffering from allergies.
