If you have a monetary hardship an expiring your cobra time usually 90 days,i would recomend to apply for medicaid,otherwise your cost can run about $7500.00 with ghi as hip has been bought by the former two years ago and the rate is the same even if the name may have not yet changed.

The state you live in may have an affordable insurance plan for you, also check out Medicare/Medicaid. If you drive & have AAA, they have a very affordable health plan as well. Most states enforce hospital care for everyone, with or without insurance. In some states it is law, check all areas out & good luck.
