can Penicillin – cause temporary blindness?

Years ago when taking Penicillin, I became temporary blind. Are there any reported cases of Penicillin causing temporary blindness? When doctors read this in my Medical History they always question it. Thanks for a speecy reply. Mrs. Dot Mathis
