The health aspects of Holy water.

For the first time, I availed myself of the holy water in an old church I was visiting. I have to say, it tasted absolutely foul and gave me severe diarrhea for 3-days. Can I sue the church and claim compensation for this?

Surely a church must see that the Holy water it provides is safe for public use.

You're not really supposed to drink the "holy water". It's more for anointing and baptisms. ( that, and scaring away vampires ).
The problem with most churches, is that they don't throw out the holy water ( because it's "holy"). So it sits in the seplicur getting stagnant.
Don't drink the holy water.
As to wether or not you can sue the church depends on wether or not they offered you holy water to drink.
If they did, you may have a case.
If they didn't, and you drank it on your own violation. Then you don't.

 

BTW. This is something I learned way back from my GrandFather. Who was a Penticostilist Minister. Don't drink the Holy Water.

No, what you need to do is slap yourself up side the head. Holy water, in ANY church, is not meant to drink. I mean, seriously, every person in the church dips their hands in it to genuflect and get the blessing. It's lousy with whatever germs or bacteria might have been on their hands. Drinking it was a really stupid thing to do.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

Bonestructure, unless you have been diving into atheist pits of vice and have an immune system compromised with AIDS, Herpes, and Chalmydia, then any microbes in that font will not survive two seconds in your gut.

The sheer guilt of an unrepentant atheist, still trying to push that ridiculous cult on people who know better, would weaken his immune system as badly as AIDS.  Maybe that is why atheists come down with such wretched health:

Yes it would. Especialy if it is distilled and the battery water level is low enough to cause a problem. But, that has more to do with the water than the blessing.
