Harry Douthwaite....I spent a summer in Europe in 1969 and hitched a ride

with a Harry Douthwaite and Brian Reed from England to Scottland. Harry

was going to write a book "Yankees Stay Home" wondered where he is now? I am actually writing a book about that summer. I wanted to mention the crazy night we spent with them in Edinburgh. This Harry would be maybe 57 years old today, he was only 18 back then. Thanks Dee Davidson

I am also looking for a Harry Douthwaite, cant be the same, but maybe a relitive.  I did come across a Harry Douthwaiite who was a golfer, may be around the age you mentioned.  Lost touchof him a couple of years ago, but might not be to hard to track down

I remember that night well - we all missed the Edinburgh Tattoo - a Triumph Herald was never the fastest car in the world!!
