My Nurse Practioner told me that she would take my Mirena out buy pulling on the strings.  I never had it done, but I know if you get it done professionally that they just pull on the strings.  I wouldn't recommend you do it by yourself, but if you did, I would recommend to pull on the strings very slowly.

ok but im saying if i pull it out they used the tool for an excam to open you up and it hurt so what happen if i dnt have all the tools and pull the string?

I don't think it is going to hurt because you don't have the tools for an exam to open you up....I think it will hurt the same if you did it or if a doctor did it.  I just don't know how bad it hurts because I never did it!  You should search "Mirena" on msn or google or something!

It may also be effective for clot prevention after hip replacement surgery. You can read about it at http://hipreplacementnewsandupdates.blogspot.com ...
