He'll likely be left back.

Summer school is an opportunity for students who failed regular classes to NOT be held back - however, if they fail at summer school as well, then they will not qualify as having successfully completed all the requirements of the preceding grade, and will have to be repeat the grade (barring some justifiable intervention by the school or district).

Perhaps your son could stop slacking off. NO one fails summer school unless they're truly incompetent or don't give a crap.

Then again, perhaps you should be setting a better example. Do you REALLY not know how to spell the word "school"?

If you afraid of that you should prepare your son..
