I don't know enough about your situation to diagnose anything, but it sort of sounds like the crutches are not fitted properly to your body size.  Try wrapping foam, wash cloth, something soft, etc., over the handles and see if that helps.  I would also try to stay off the crutches as much as possible for a day or two to provide some sort of relief.  Good luck.

I also don't know enough about your condition, but have you thought about using a walker instead of crutches?  Or using a wheel chair part of the time?

Does the pain ease up when you don't use the crutches for a while (do you wake up with your hand feeling okay and then it hurts when you use it)?

Does applying ice help?  Have you tried linament for joint pain?

It's hard to tell from here what part of your hand you hurt or how.  You could go to the National Institutes of Health website (a U.S. government agency) and read up about hand injuries and see what seems most likely to you.  Of course, only a doctor can diagnose your problem for sure.

no i'm just having alot of pain period i can barely move it around.

anglots6, you have a lot of little bones in your hand, and it wouldn't seem too unlikely that you may have fractured or dislocated one of them.  You will have to see a doctor.  I don't for the life of me know why they would refuse you an x-ray just because of lack of swelling.  When you see your doctor about it, I think that they will order a series of x-rays on your hand.
