Hi, there are so many ways to cook a ham!  I wanted to try something different with mine over the holidays and came across a great idea which worked really well. This ham started its cooking time in the slow cooker before being finished off with a honey glaze in the oven........delicious!

I like it baked with a orange marmalade , fresh ginger and horseradish glaze.

I bake mine at around 325 in an oven or roaster, I baste it with a sauce made with mustard, brown sugar, and ginger ale..and/or you can bake it with cloves, stick your cloves in the ham before baking, then after it's done baste again in the sauce..you should adjust the amounts of brown sugar and mustard to your taste, play with it until you get it to taste just the way you want..

Here is how I cook a fresh ham that is uncured.

Your creative mind is your ticket to greatnesss.
