I'm a gymnast and my lower left side of my back hurts????

I'm 14 and a gymnast and lately (about 2 weeks) my lower left side of my back has been hurting it started just when I did backwalkovers but now it hurts almost every time I bend my back. I iced and took ibprophene for the first few days or so but it hasnt gotten any better??????

Well, you need to see a doctor.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

You could have a spinal disk injury.  See a doctor.

You will need to see your doctor or better yet a chiropractor because you will need an x-ray.  Gymnasts are prone to pars fractures, in which I see a lot of in my office.
