a guy friend of mine is divorced. The" parents" of x-wife literally grabbed his son off the bus after school and took him to an attorney and said they did not think it was safe that he would take him with him on a hunting trip. He is not hunting,he was just taking him along for the fun. These are very angry parent-in laws,whose daughter is in and out of rehab..in which she is not allowed to even have thier sons alone at any time. She has not even showed for 2 weeks to pick up the boys during her visitation,in which her parents have been hiding the fact that she is in rehab again . Do you think he is a bad parent for taking his 6 yr old with him?

Not at all. It can be a time to bond. And I would tell the grandparents if they did it again I will press charges.
