Discuss Book's answer to: How to get green peppers to turn red?

I don't think charlie2911 has much experience growing peppers.  While it is true that peppers have to be particular varieties to change color, they usually are all greenish until they are fully grown.  The color change occurs as they ripen and mature.  If your peppers are genetically designed to turn red, you have to leave them on the vine until it happens.
