If you are going to Grapevine Texas here is a little help:

Hotels in the Grapevine Texas area can be a tremendous asset to any management team looking to pull together a training event. Having stayed in several of the area Hotels I recommend the Hilton Grapevine Executive Convention and Conference Center as the top Hotel for holding a team building event. This property features a Lake for fishing (no license required as it is private property) they rent poles or you can try out your new gear purchased next door at the beautiful Bass Pro. They also have horses with trail riding and a facility to use for outdoor events and training. They have nice out door lighted tennis courts and two pools one in-door and one out doors over looking the lake. Their convention rooms are nice size and in very good shape with the ability to hold good size events. They have friendly well trained on-site security which is a comfort these days in a property of this magnitude.  This is about a 20 min drive to the new Dallas Football Arena which is located next to the Texas Rangers Stadium (prepare for traffic) as well as Six Flags, and with-in 10 min. of Dallas airport. Located next door to the Grapevine Mills Mall, which is perfect for your managers who may bring family looking for things to do during the day. There is no shortage of activities for families. Having needed to use this property for myself and to place several different types of business people as well as government and never having a complaint all very happy, I have to rate this property  as my top personal best for the area. The rooms are a nice size , beds very comfortable, prefer the queen rooms to the king. Would love to see the property do two small things different, which would be add small fridge and microwave. As with all Hilton property's there is a charge for Internet. There is restaurant on property and the food is good and right out side of the property there are at least ten new places to eat around the mall as well as a Starbucks. Very well kept and friendly people. The concierge well take good care of sending you to the correct places for the correct occasions so do not overlook his/her expertise. They also have staff to watch children during the day.

Next door is the Bass Pro Embassy Suites which is again at the top. This property however only has an indoor pool with no place to really lay out with the exception of a small very hot area next to parking lot. This could be fixed with mist and landscrapping which would be the only improvement I would ask of the beautiful property. During the winter this is the place to be. The rooms are bigger with all being the suite with sitting area style ability to close off rooms if needed and all include the microwave and fridge as well as a wonderful not soon to be forgotten breakfast buffet. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms nice size. This property is attached to the Bass Pro as well as their beautiful restaurant with will take you to the feeling of a Tahoe experience, even if just for an hour while you take a quick lunch in the upstairs sports bar. The meeting rooms are all nice sized and just as the Hilton they are perfect for any size convention or event that you would want to plan bringing people to the Grapevine area.

The newest of all the properties in the Great Wolf. This is not for a business trip. This is a place to take the kids for a get-a -way weekend during the winter or Spring break ! This is a water slide park in side a hotel, bring money and lots of it for all of the great things they have to do.This is a kids resort in all terms. Staff is great and the place is beautiful, however the bed comfort rate is on the low end. All else is fantastic and perfect for what it is intended. Not meant for an adult training weekend or weekday !

                                                                                                                     Enjoy, Tonni C/ OK
