where do you find government grants??

Government Grants

My question is about "grants". My daughter is 23 and she is going to be applying for govt grants so she can further her education. My question is don't the counselors at school help arrange for grants and the "proper" language to use while your are trying to obtain 1,2,3 of these grants.

Can anyone answer my questions?

This web site contains information for student grants and related links. If it was my child that was applying for a grant, I would contact a counselor at school for help, but I would also use the Internet to find the best ways to apply for grants.

Hi there,

To answer you question: Up to a certain point, some of them might, yes. But I wouldn't depend on them alone. When it comes to grants, it's pretty much a numbers' game. Besides, don't forget there are also many private institutions giving grants as well. Also, it's always good to talk to someone who's up to date with the current "tendencies" -which qualifying requisites each one prioritizes- of each institution (particularly when it comes private grants, there are significant shifts from one year to the next).
