Obama took the US into Libya and allowed questionable leaders to take over but in Syria he does nothing as children are being massacred. In that I do not have access to State Department summaries and all the records that would comprise an Executive briefing, it would be out of line to speak.  Never act without considering the full implications of your actions! 

It is a humanitarian crisis to be sure, but what should we do about it?  The root of the problem goes back to the political designs of a few heartless despots who orchestrated this litany of madness. 

More importantly, politics can be a Rubik's' Cube: change one thing, and you change all others in the bargain, sometimes quite unpredictably.

Only one thing is certain in that part of the world: whoever has the most to gain from causing terror and bitterness will always resort to that in order to get his way.  Children will pay the highest toll, whoever is in charge must of course scapegoat Israel and America, and no matter what anyone does, someone will say it was wrong.

The worst blunder we could make would be to act prematurely.

We must drive Syria into instant submission by the cruelest means possible.

I suggest that we send them every obnoxious teenager we have, institute network television (with double the amount of obnoxious ads that we endure) and send in every mime troupe in Europe. 

If that fails to drive them to surrender, then we can introduce them to the dulcet tones of auto-harp music with harmonica backup (played out of tune of course). 

Failing that, Cheech and Chong playing "Sister Mary Elephant."

Obama is a terrible president that has presented a dsyfunctional foreign policy. Under Obama democracy in the Arab world had turned into a nightmare where Islamist anti-American regimes dominate. Obama is rewarding Egypt for murdering the coptic Christians threatening to break the peace treaty with Israel and aligning with anti-American ideologies with increased military aid. With Iran Obama is allowing the fanatical Mullahs to spread dominance in Latin America and circumvent sanctions while building nuclear bombs which in a few years will be able to hit the US and England. Obama has laid the foundation for the next world war abandoning aliies like Israel and England and supporting Islamist Turkey which carries out genocides and is still aligned with Iran. Obama is standing by and allowing the Islamist governments to dictate American policy and not intervene in the slaughter of Syrian children. Obama has allowed Iraq which did benefit from Bushs surge to become a satellite of Iran allowing Iran to ship weapons to Syria's Assad to kill Syrian children. Obama has virtually handed over the Middle East to Iran and the Islamists and the children of America will pay for it. Shame on America for electing a president who is destroying their system and whose energy director wants oil and gasoline price to match Europe. Obama is destroying American exceptionalism and with the global reach of human rights. The United Nations is inept and is not functioning and either is the US. The American people need to get rid of Obama and fast

The Middle East DID become our problem after 9/11, unfortunately. What to do about Syria ? Wait and watch for now.
